When I was pregnant the first time, about 8 years ago, I could not find any information on running during pregnancy.  The advice I got from doctors was to stop running and walk instead.  A tough switch to make for a life long runner.
My second pregnancy was 2 years ago.  Once again I searched for information.  There was certainly more to find this go around.  But I still wasn't impressed with what and how much I found.
I have been running for more then 25 years.  I have been coaching runners for 5 years.  For quite a while I have wanted to develop a site that is specifically aimed at pregnant runners.  My hope is for this site to develop overtime as a place that you can come to for information, guidance, products and comradeship. I want to provide a central running source for all your needs during and after pregnancy.

My name is Christine Hinton.  You can find out more about me at www.TheRunningCoach.com.

Please feel free to email me at:  TheRunningCoach@comcast.net  if you have any suggestions for this site, or if you have running related questions.
If you provide services or products for athletic minded pregnant woman, I'd be happy to discuss advertising as the site grows.

Enjoy browsing the developing website and have a great pregnancy!
